I am a senior teacher at a school and also the administrator of the institution. I have been teaching for a couple of decades now, and with the amount of experience I have in this field one thing has always stayed in my head – never leave any valuable of yours outside your room.
I am not saying that the students are thieves or anything, am just sharing my experience with my readers who would agree with me in the saying ‘finders keepers’. So, I proposed the idea of School Lockers for the students and teachers, and Gym Locker for our young sportsmen. As it goes, Lockers are one of the best secure ways to keep your things safe, and with my idea, the school finally got new Lockers and also got the old ones repaired.
Since we got the new lockers, I have not seen more than 2 – 3 things in the lost n found box, which means we have been making considerable progress. The kids seem to be much more happy as well as satisfied with the schools system, which of course is for their own good. I shared my experience with everyone who will read this because I believe knowledge is power, or in this case, security.
