I have been using the listings on local.com from almost six months and have found them to be perfect for me. I am a single business executive living in LA and go trough these local yellowpages on local.com to find information on the best restaurants, dentists, veterinary specialists and car repair shops.
I first came across local.com when a friend told me about this website. I initially brushed aside his suggestion as I was already using some traditional yellow pages. I however discovered that those yellow pages were not good as they were not updated and I had to search for hours to look for a particular deal or address. Internet has made things easier and now it is easy to do local search on local.com.
I just need to type a phrase or word that I am looking for and the search feature lists dozens of matches. It is easy to find local restaurants that are offering specialty cuisine and discounts on these offers. It has become easier for me to take my friends to a newly opened restaurant that is offering almost free dining. I pick up the tabs during these times; I love the feeling of being generous. This would not have happened if I was not using local.com.
